About the book...
It was described as "the most heinous treatment of a human being ever seen." A surveillance videotape recorded the thirty minutes a 14-year-old black youth experienced at the hands of seven boot camp guards and a nurse in Panama City, Florida. Its release ignited outrage throughout the national media and global cyberspace. Protesters marched, mourners grieved, laws were revoked, and a trial miscarried. The authoress embarks on a personal journey through history and culture in search of justice.
